AgGenomics Pty Ltd (ACN 099 612 423) is a joint venture enterprise of Genetic Technologies Ltd and Agriculture Victoria Services Pty Ltd.
AgGenomics is bound by the Privacy Act 1988 (Cwth) and the ten National Privacy Principles set out in that Act. We believe an individual's right to keep their personal information private is highly important.
AgGenomics collects personal information only if it is necessary for it to provide its services and establish a business relationship. We will only do so by lawful, unobtrusive and fair means and wherever reasonable and practicable, only from that individual. AgGenomics only collects personal information:-
- to provide clients with commercial genomics services.
- to communicate with clients about AgGenomics and the services we offer.
- to provide clients with additional or related information that may be of interest to them.
- We may disclose personal information to the joint venture parties but only for the stated purposes above.
- Apart from using personal information in connection with providing the AgGenomics service, we will not disclose it to any other person.
- We will not sell or trade personal information.
Your consent is important
Where possible, we will obtain an individual's written consent to collect their personal information. By placing an order with AgGenomics, clients are giving their express consent for us to collect, retain and use the personal information. Otherwise we will assume you consent to AgGenomics using the personal information in the above manner if you do not contact us to instruct otherwise.
If an individual does not want us to obtain personal information or wish to cancel the AgGenomics service or request not to receive any further information about some of the other services we offer, they may contact us at the contact addresses provided below. We will not contact an individual again if requested.
If you do not provide us with personal information as a client so as to facilitate a business relationship, we may not be able to provide you with the AgGenomics services.

Limitation of liability
1. AgGenomics agrees to use its reasonable endeavours to perform the services adequately and to industry standards.
2. However, except as implied by statute or expressly agreed in writing by AgGenomics, any and all liability for the services performed and material supplied in connection with those services by AgGenomics is excluded.
3. The liability of AgGenomics for a breach of any condition or warranty implied by law is limited at AgGenomic?s option to the re-supply of the services or payment of the cost of having the services supplied again.
4. Except as implied by statute, all other liability, including for physical or financial consequential loss or damage (including, without limitation, loss of revenue, loss of profits or opportunity cost) and whether arising from negligence or in any other way is excluded.
