Dr Harrison has a Master of Business Administration from Auckland University and a Bachelor of Veterinary Science from Massey University. He is currently the Director of Technology Commercialisation with Primary Industries Research Victoria.
He is an experienced manager whose previous experience includes the management of technology based SME business units of both private and public sector organisations.
As well as being a Director of AgGenomics Pty Ltd, he is the CEO of Phytogene, a biotechnology start up company commercialising delayed senescence technology in plants, and an appointee of the Minister of Agriculture, to the Faculty of Veterinary Science, University of Melbourne. He is also a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
